Please email or call to set up your free 15-minute consultation at info@WaysidePsychiatry.com or 804-993-8383.
You will be emailed standard forms to complete before the appointment (GAD-7, PHQ-9, and Biopsychosocial forms) and a telehealth link. We will spend about 30 minutes to an hour discussing your current situation and goals. I will listen, take notes and ask clarifying questions. We will talk about medication options, non-pharmacological recommendations and utilize psychoeducation to develop a holistic treatment plan with your goals in mind. Follow-ups are about 15 to 30 minutes, scheduled as needed.
We work with a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), women's mental health concerns, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and other stress-related concerns. Treatment is individualized and evidence-based, and may include medication management, psychotherapy, or a combination of both. We prioritize education and collaboration so you can better understand your mental health and treatment options. We review the risks and benefits of each option together and adjust care as needed. Follow-up visits are typically scheduled as needed, during initial periods of stabilization and then spaced out over time as symptoms improve and goals are met.
The care here helped me find balance when I felt overwhelmed and lost.
